"Warehouse handling is required for Entry Type = Output" error message when you reverse an output of a released production order in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013

Applies to: Dynamics NAV 2013

This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics NAV for all countries and all language locales.

Symptoms

Assume that you create a released production order (RPO) for an item against a location whose Require Pick setting is enabled in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013. The order is posted by using an incorrect output quantity. You post a negative quantity on the output to reverse the mistake. In this situation, you receive the following error message:
Warehouse handling is required for Entry Type = Output, Order No. = Order_No, Order Line No. = Line_No.
