This hotfix adds new countries to the Activate Server wizard on a Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1), or Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (SP2)-based license server. After you install the hotfix, the following countries are added in the Country or Region drop-down list box in the Activate Server wizard:
  • Libya
  • Iraq
  • Bonaire, Saint Eustatius, and Saba
  • Curaçao
  • Sint Maarten
  • South Sudan

Resolution


To resolve this issue in Windows Server 2012 R2, install the following update:
2955164 Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2 update rollup: May 2014

To resolve this issue in Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2008, install the hotfix that is described in this article. This hotfix is also available at Microsoft Update Catalog.
