- You have a touch or pen-enabled Windows 8 or 8.1 PC.
- The display is configured for portrait mode.
- In the Control Panel Tablet PC Settings applet, you select the Calibrate button for touch or pen input.
In this scenario, the calibration window is displayed in landscape mode, which results in part of the window not being visible. As a result, calibration cannot be completed.
If you need to run the Tablet PC Settings calibration tool, first change your display orientation to landscape. Once calibration is completed, you can change the screen orientation back to portrait. The screen orientation can be changed by launching the Control Panel Display applet and selecting "Adjust resolution". Under Orientation, you can switch between Portrait and Landscape.
