Symptoms

In a Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 R2 environment, you import a catalog in Catalog Manager, and one of the following conditions is true:

  • The product price field contains four digits to the right of the decimal point.

In this scenario, you notice that product prices have changed unexpectedly.

For example, the following price value will experience this problem: 12345.1000

Whereas the following price values will not experience this problem:

  • 123.1000

  • 12345.10

Note This problem occurs when you import either a Base Catalog or a Virtual Catalog.
