Symptoms

The government of Morocco has changed the daylight saving time (DST) end date for 2013.

According to the announcement, the DST end date is now October 27, 2013, instead of September 29, 2013.

Resolution

Fix it for me

A supported Fix it solution is now available from Microsoft to enable the extension of the DST period to October 27, 2013. You can download the Fix it solution by clicking the one of the following links, depending on your operating system.

Note Make sure that you have the latest Windows Cumulative Update for your time zone and DST installed before you run this Fix it solution.

For the following operating systems, apply the following Fix it solution:

  • Windows XP

  • Windows Vista

  • Windows 7 (32-bit, x86)

  • Windows 7 (64-bit, x64)

  • Windows Server 2000

  • Windows Server 2003

  • Windows Server 2008 (32-bit, x86)

  • Windows Server 2008 (64-bit, x64)

  • Windows Server 2008 R2


For the following operating systems, apply the following Fix it solution:

  • Windows 8 (32-bit, x86)

  • Windows 8 (64-bit, x64)

  • Windows RT

  • Windows Server 2012 (32-bit, x86)

  • Windows Server 2012 (64-bit, x64)




When you install the Fix it solution, the DST period will be extended to October 27, 2013.
