Consider the following scenario:
- You use Hyper-V Replica to replicate virtual machines on a Windows Server 2012 R2-based Replica server.
- You specify a folder on a data deduplication-enabled volume to store Replica files.
- You select additional recovery points on the Configure Recovery History page.
To work around this issue, do not select additional recovery points when you configure recovery history if you use a data deduplication-enabled volume to store Replica files. If you already experience the issue, change the number of additional recovery points to 0 for virtual machines that have the Replica files stored on a data deduplication-enabled volume.
