Consider the following scenario:
- You have Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio installed on a computer that is running Windows 8.1.
- The following conditions are true on the server:
- The Failover Cluster role is installed.
- The Spooler service is not running.
- You try to start a New Query window.
This problem occurs because of an issue in the Dynamic Remote Procedure Call feature.
