February 10, 2015 update for OneDrive for Business (KB2920746)

This article describes update KB2920746 for Microsoft OneDrive for Business that was released on February 10, 2015.

Please be aware that the update in Download Center applies to Microsoft Installer (.msi)-based edition of Office 2013. It does not apply to the Office 2013 Click-to-Run editions such as Microsoft Office 365 Home. (How to determine?).

Improvements and Fixes

  • Improves reliability for file conflicts occur when you sync a document library by using OneDrive for Business.
  • Improves localization to make sure that the meanings are accurate in multiple languages.
  • Fixes the following issues:
    • Assume that you add a document to a SharePoint document library, and the full path of the document is too long. In this situation, you may be unable to sync the document library by using OneDrive for Business. Similarly, you may be unable to create or rename a document if the full path of the document is too long.
    • Assume that you sync a document library by using OneDrive for Business. When the files in the document library exceeds the limits (by default, the value is set to 5,000,) you do not receive an error message for the issue.

How to determine whether my Office installation is Click-to-Run or MSI-based:
  1. Start an Office 2013 application, such as Microsoft Word 2013.
  2. On the File menu, click Account.
  3. For Office 2013 Click-to-Run installations, an Update Options item is displayed. For MSI-based installations, the Update Options item is not displayed.
