Assume that you are running Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3 (SP3) environment. You select an inactive search folder in Outlook 2007, such as the Unread Mail search folder. In this situation, the RPC Client Access service may stop unexpectedly. This issue occurs because the search restrictions in Outlook 2007 search folders are processed by a recursive function. Then, a stack overflow occurs. Therefore, the Microsoft.Exchange.RpcClientAccess.Service.exe process stops.
