This article describes an issue that occurs after you restart the Windows Embedded Compact 7-based device. The device does not send Gratuitous Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) for refreshing ARP tables of other devices, even though the network adapter has valid IP address. In this situation, the device does not respond to the incoming pings.
A hotfix is available to resolve this issue. The hotfix requests all previously issued updates for this product have also been installed.
