This article describes a hotfix package that contains the latest hotfixes for Microsoft Application Virtualization 4.6 Service Pack 3.

Note We recommend that you test hotfixes before you deploy them in a production environment. Because the builds are cumulative, each new hotfix release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous update package. We recommend that you consider applying the most recent fix release that contains the most necessary hotfixes.

This hotfix package fixes the following issue:

Issue 1: System crashes and generates a Stop error code 0x22 when a virtualized application is shut down

In rare instances, the App-V client may cause a system crash when a virtualized application is shut down. Additionally, you receive a Stop error 0x22 or a FILESYSTEM (22) error message. Apply this hotfix to resolve this specific problem.

Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
