Symptoms

Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 store service crash intermittently when it's database containing public folder mailbox. You may see the following being logged in the event log:

Cause

There is data corruption in the public folder mailbox.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install Exchange Server 2013 Cumulative update 8.

Status

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
