Office 365 Click-to-Install fails on certain Windows 8.1-based computers

This issue occurs when you try to install Office 365 by using the Click-to-Install link that is provided on the computer. The installation may fail and stop at approximately 75 percent.


This issue occurs because one of the Office preload files is corrupted.

To resolve this issue, we have released an update for Windows 8.1.
