Windows Update does not install files if compression is enabled in Windows 10 Technical Preview

Windows Update does not install files on a Windows 10 Technical Preview-based computer that has system compression enabled.

Note On a computer that uses a solid-state drive (SSD) as its boot volume, system compression is enabled automatically.

When system compression is enabled, the method that file system uses to track file deletions may cause the Windows Update installer to think that the temp files cannot be extracted correctly. This prevents Windows Update from completing.
