Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You are using Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).

You run a query on the partitions that contain distinct count measures.

You cancel the execution of this query.
In this scenario, an access violation may occur, and a mini dump file is generated at the same time.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative updates for SQL Server:
Cumulative Update 5 for SQL Server 2016 RTM
Cumulative Update 2 for SQL Server 2016 SP1
Cumulative Update 2 for SQL Server 2016
Cumulative Update 4 for SQL Server 2014 SP2
Cumulative Update 11 for SQL Server 2014 SP1
Cumulative Update 6 for SQL Server 2014
Cumulative Update 4 for SQL Server 2012 SP2
