- You have a computer that is running Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, or Windows 8.
- You set up a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) device on the computer.
- You disconnect the device, and then you reconnect it.
In this scenario, you can no longer make a Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) connection.
