Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 2 do not successfully connect to a wireless display session by using a Miracast receiver

When you use a Surface Pro 3 or Surface Pro 2 to establish a wireless display Session to a Miracast receiver, the connection attempt may time out after several seconds. This problem may occur when the Intel HD Graphics Family driver version is installed on the device.

This problem occurs because of an issue in the Intel video driver. The Intel video driver incorrectly drops the connection immediately after the negotiation is completed.

To resolve this problem, we have released an update that is dated on May 19, 2015, on Windows Update.
