KB3069488 - "Non-yielding Scheduler" error when a database has columnstore indexes on a SQL Server 2014 instance

Applies to: SQL Server 2014 DeveloperSQL Server 2014 EnterpriseSQL Server 2014 Standard

Assume that you have a database that includes columnstore indexes on a Microsoft SQL Server 2014 instance. When the server is under memory pressure and there are many objects in the columnstore object pool, a "Non-yielding Scheduler" error may occur. This may cause SQL Server to freeze or become unresponsive.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
