The content for the driver package may be duplicated multiple times. This causes the package file to be significantly larger than the package in the original source location.
Additionally, the process to import the new drivers by using the Import New Driver wizard may take much more time than you expect.

Important Installing this hotfix does not affect the size of any existing driver packages. A driver package that contains duplicated content should be deleted and re-created after you install this hotfix. Additionally, any drivers imported by using the console after Service Pack 1 was applied, but before you install this hotfix, must be deleted and re-imported before use in driver packages.
PrerequisitesTo apply this hotfix, you must have Cumulative Update 1 for System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager Service Pack 1 and System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Service Pack 2 installed.
