FIX: Link speed of WAN adapter is displayed incorrectly in NDIS on a WEC 7 device

Symptoms

Assume that you have a Windows Embedded Compact 7 (WEC 7) device that has the June 2015 WEC 7 update installed. However, after the device connects to the network, Network Driver Interface Specification (NDIS) displays the link speed of the WAN adapter as the default value for the call stack (for example, 1 Gbps).

Restart requirement

After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:
  • On the Build menu, click Clean Solution, and then click Build Solution.
  • On the Build menu, click Rebuild Solution.
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.
