Consider the following scenario:
- You use Outlook for Mac to schedule a recurring meeting series.
- You modify single instances of the meeting series. For example, you modify the location, the attendees, the meeting time or date, the duration, or the notes.
- You then modify the whole meeting series. For example, you modify the location for the meeting series.
This issue occurs because of a design limitation in Outlook for Mac.
To work around this issue, modify the single instances of the meeting series that were not updated with the later modification to the whole series.
To help minimize the impact of this issue, schedule recurring meeting series with an end date not too far in the future. This helps because there is less likelihood that you'll have to modify the whole series, and there will be fewer modified instances that are affected when you do have to modify the whole series.
