This article describes an issue in which an incorrect value is returned from the GetDepedencyProperty function in a Silverlight for Windows Embedded application in Windows Embedded Compact 7. An update is available to resolve this issue. Before you install this update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.
You run a Silverlight for Windows Embedded (SWE) application on a Windows Embedded Compact 7 device. If a dependency property that uses a VT_BSTR or VT_READONLY_STRING is registered, a call to the SetDepedencyProperty function is made to set a zero-length string. Then, a call to the GetDepedencyProperty function is made to obtain the value. However, an incorrect value is returned.
