This article describes an issue that occurs if a Software Input panel (SIP) is used with Pinyin input. An update is available to resolve this issue. Before you install this update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.
You use Microsoft WordPad on a device that is running Windows Embedded Compact 7. You If you click a SIP, use Pinyin input, enter some keyboard characters, and then click Enter, the device stops responding and an exception is returned to the MSIM component.

- On the Build menu, click Rebuild Solution.
