Symptoms
A Master Data Services database that was created by SQL Server 2016 Master Data Services Configuration Manager is not visible in SQL Server 2012 Master Data Services Configuration Manager.

Update information
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server:
Cumulative Update 3 for SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 3
Cumulative Update 1 for SQL Server 2014 SP2
