FIX: Can't retrieve favorite KPIs or mobile reports in Power BI Mobile app or GetCatalogItem API in SQL Server 2016

Symptoms


Assume that you create a KPI or a mobile report in the SQL Server 2016 Reporting Services web portal, and then you add it to your favorites. When you browse to your favorites by using the Power BI Mobile app on your phone, the favorites folder is empty.

Similarly, when you retrieve the IsFavorite property of a favorite item by using the GetCatalogItem API, an incorrect value is returned.

The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server:
