    • In desktop operating systems, the following registry subkey is used to set parameters for certificate authentication:
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\IKEEXT\Parameters\IPsecTunnelConfig\IKEV1\Cert

      Exception: In Windows Embedded Compact 2013, the registry entry is located in the following path:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\IKEEXT\ Parameters\IPsecTunnelConfig\IKEV1\Cert
