"30029-1011 (0)" error when you try to install Office 365 ProPlus by using the Office Deployment Tool


Consider the following scenario:
  • You are running the Office Deployment Tool (ODT) version 16.0.7118.5775.
  • You successfully download the bits for Office 365 ProPlus, and then you run the /configure command to install the programs. 
In this scenario, you receive the following error message:

Couldn't install

We're sorry, we had a problem installing your Office program(s). 

Is your internet connection working? Do you have enough free space on your main hard drive?

Please try installing again after you've check the above. Go online for additional help. Error Code: 30029-1011 (0)


This problem occurs because of a known issue in build 16.0.7118.5775 of the Office Deployment Tool.


This issue has been fixed in the next build of the Office Deployment Tool, 16.0.7118.5776.
