Consider the following scenario:
- The operating system of your computer is Windows XP.
- You create a mailbox in Outlook 2007 on Microsoft Exchange Server 2013.
- You have an additional mailbox (shared mailbox) configured in the outlook profile.
This issue occurs because the shared mailbox logon session is using the primary mailbox connection when it connects to Exchange server. This causes the wrong server error when operations of primary mailbox connect to Exchange server while the session has a logon for a different account.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
