To work around this issue, follow these steps:
- Uninstall CU5 for SQL Server 2012 SP3.
- Install Cumulative Update 4 for SQL Server 2012 SP3.
- Delete your existing Reporting Services service application by using SharePoint Administration. Then, create another application.
- Deploy all your reports, data sources, and other items. Alerting and Subscriptions should now work as expected.
