This security update resolves a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows. The vulnerability could allow elevation of privilege if an attacker runs a specially crafted application to access sensitive information. A locally authenticated attacker could try to exploit this vulnerability by running a specially crafted application. By using this method, an attacker can gain access to information that's not intended to be available to the user.
