FIX: MDS business rule isn't triggered by an attribute value change if the attribute belongs to a change tracking group

Symptoms


Consider the following scenario:

  • You use SQL Server 2016 Master Data Services.
  • You add an attribute to a change tracking group.
  • You create a business rule that is triggered when the attribute value is changed.

In this scenario, when the attribute value is changed, the business rule is not triggered as expected.

Resolution


This update is included in Cumulative Update 1 for SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 1.
