IMs may stop displaying, or be out of order in the conversation history in Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013)

When you see instant messages (IMs) from the middle of the conversation history in Microsoft Skype for Business 2015 (Microsoft Lync 2013), you may experience one of the following issues:
    • IMs are displayed out of order.
    • IMs stop displaying.
    • Client crashes.


To fix these issues, install the April 4, 2017, update (KB3178731) for Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013).

Note Lync 2013 was upgraded to Skype for Business in April 2015.
