Symptom

When you use the Quick Print feature in Outlook to print emails that contain attachments, you receive an error stating the attached files cannot be found. The error may look like the following but the exact error depends on the type of attachment:

“Cannot find the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\<folderID>\test.txt file. Do you want to create a new file?”

This issue occurs after one of the following updates are installed:

Workaround

To work around the issue, use one of the following methods:

  • Save the attachments locally, and then print them in the default programs.

  • Open the email, and then print the attachments.
