Don't allow roaming to help avoid extra charges

Applies to: Windows 10

Roaming means that your PC is using a cellular network that your mobile operator doesn't own. When your PC is roaming, your mobile operator may charge you extra for any data you use, depending on your data plan.

  • Select the Start  button, then select Settings  > Network & Internet > Cellular.

  • In Cellular settings, select Data roaming options > Don’t roam.
