Service Update 8 resolves the following issues:

Performance Improvements

The following list details issues whose resolutions improve the speed or functionality of Dynamics.

  • A space appears at the top when a Quick view form is added to a form

  • A black border line appears on System Views in a Dashboard

  • A delay occurs while downloading attachments using Dynamics 365 for Outlook

  • Case sensitive Exchange Item Ids is causing duplicate items in Dynamics 365

  • Categories Tracking Support for App for Outlook

  • The OrgDBOrgSetting 'itemLevelMonitoringForEndUsers' was added

  • Remove export handlers for IsRetrieveAuditEnabled and IsRetrieveMultipleAuditEnabled

Unexpected Behavior

The following list details issues whose resolutions correct actions performed in Dynamics that do not work as intended.

  • After tracking two Appointments to a case if both are tracked at the same date, and time, one stays in Tracking Pending status

  • Unexpected records appear in a My Active Records view that a User does not have access to

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.

  • An E-mail from a User to a Queue should not be ignored by default

  • Recurring Appointment occurrence is not updated correctly when synchronizing with Dynamics 365 for Outlook

  • From field in Dynamics 365 should resolve only to User record if the option ""Set To, cc, bcc fields as unresolved values if multiple matches are found in Incoming Emails"" is set to Yes

  • A user should able to Untrack an auto tracked email before email tagger processes the item

  • Unable to update Disabled Users that are no longer in Active Directory, or Azure Active Directory

  • Searchable entities do not show up in search page filter while using Categorized Search

  • Existing Product Lookup icon field is locked despite being unlocked in the form

  • The 'Product in Parent Price List Updated' view is not customizable

  • Duplicate Detection triggers when SuppressDuplicateDetection parameter is set to true

  • The Close button does not appear after opening a record from Advanced Find, and then selecting a lookup

  • Views saved with Custom Filters do not respond to changes in filter criteria

  • Editable grids on a custom entity are no longer editable after adding an Option Set column from a related entity

  • Create Word Template option is not available with customized Sitemap

  • While using the Edge browser, after creating a new Appointment, the navigation arrow to access associated entities does not appear

  • A holding solution breaks custom mapping

  • Tracking a contact from App for Outlook creates the contact in the organization even though it is missing required fields

  • Discount list with amount type doesn't associate with Discount Amount view

  • A Condition Control is rendering the incorrect conditions

  • Price list for Products default price list is not populated

  • Unable to filter Orders by Currency

  • Cannot add a new component for Power BI tile in a Dynamics 365 Dashboard

  • Unable to view the details related to activity parties in Export to Excel

  • A Campaign can be created without the necessary permissions

  • Address Book custom entity filtering does not function in Dynamics 365 for Outlook

  • Active and Inactive status of a record does not appear correctly in the Footer of the Form

  • Associated View icon for Leads does not appear on an Account

  • Export to Excel fails if the file contains the field Modified On

  • Intermittent Grid Container Render Failure on the Interactive Service Hub for any entity

  • A user is unable to see the default Business Process Flow on a qualified Opportunity record

  • Address suggester popup is not displaying while clicking Geo code button

  • Unable to add member for Marketing list using Advanced Find

  • Email Template is not layering correctly on a solution update

  • Unable to update the Close Opportunity dialogue

  • The Object Name is incorrectly formatted while using the SQL View Validator

  • A Query Build exception occurs when accessing attachments on Appointments

  • A List View Threshold error occurs when attempting to delete a File using SharePoint integration

  • A Generic SQL Error occurs while trying to perform an Offline Sync with the Dynamics 365 for Outlook

  • The error Cannot read property 'addOnChange' of null occurs when attempting to add a product to the Opportunity record

  • Retry dialog pops up if Report Publishing fails during an organization database update

  • An Alert message occurs after you select Refresh on a Roll-up Field

  • Record Is unavailable error occurs when accessing the personal view of the contacts for an Dynamic Marketing list from members sub grid

  • Plugins using an Integration User are failing with a 'disabled' User error

  • An error occurs while selecting +New for Business Hours

  • The error "Culture is not supported" occurs when using the language PT-CL

  • A SQL error occurs when filtering on a Quote Detail view while using the German language pack
