MPN Support contracts are valid for 1 year, then all the remaining support contract benefits are disabled.
From July 15 2018, all new MPN support contracts will have a duration of 1 year and 30 days.

- Partner Support Gold 20pack, Partner Support Silver 15pack, Partner Support MAPS 10pack
- Partner Advisory Gold 50h, Partner Advisory Silver 20h, Partner Advisory Action Pack 5h
- MPN Signature: Partner Signature unlimited, Partner Signature 10pack, Partner Signature 5pack
Q: Why do we make this change?
A. We are streamlining how benefits are enabled through the new platform/Partner Center. Since renewal windows are changing, we’re adding 30 days to allow extra time for benefit renewal.
Q. Do we add extra benefits to cover +30 days?
A. No, you have extra time to use your remaining benefits. For additional MPN benefits, partners should complete their competency enrolment or purchase Action Pack.
Q. Does this apply to Advanced Support for Partners, additional paid Advisory hours or any Partner Premier support offerings?
A. No. This only applies to the specified MPN Core benefits and Signature
Q. Can I request my existing support contract be extended by 30 days?
A. If the 30 day support contract extension applies to your support contract and it has not already been extended. You may request for your support contract to be extended. Follow the support contract activation process (see Microsoft Partner Network Support contract activation - (Blank) Hours or Incidents )
