This article describes update 4462200 for Microsoft Office 2013 that was released on April 2, 2019. This update also applies to Office Home and Student 2013 RT.
Be aware that the update in the Microsoft Download Center applies to the Microsoft Installer (.msi)-based edition of Office 2013. It doesn't apply to the Office 2013 Click-to-Run editions, such as Microsoft Office 365 Home (see What version of Office am I using?).
Improvements and fixes
This update enables the new Japanese era information that is defined in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Nls\Calendars\Japanese\Eras registry key to display in the 32-bit of Excel 2013 when the new era is available.
Note To enable this feature, you also need to install the updates 4464504 and 3178640 together with this update.
