FIX: Access violation occurs when you query data from a view created on a table with columnstore index in SQL Server 2016 and 2017

Assume that you create a view on a table with columnstore index in an instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and 2017. When you query data from the view by using Select query, an access violation occurs. Additionally, a minidump file is generated, and you may receive error messages that resemble the following:

DateTime spid      *   Exception Address = 00007FFEB4069DBC Module(sqlmin+00000000010B9DBC)
DateTime spid      *   Exception Code     = c0000005 EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

DateTime spid      *   Access Violation occurred reading address 0000000000000090


This issue is fixed in the following cumulative updates for SQL Server:

       Cumulative Update 13 for SQL Server 2017

       Cumulative Update 4 for SQL Server 2016 SP2
