If you’re attempting to access your data, here are some questions and answers to help you find what you’re looking for:

Did you sign in with a Microsoft account?

  • If you sign in using a Microsoft account, you can access the following data through the privacy dashboard on account.microsoft.com:
    • Apps and services activity history
    • Voice history
    • Search history
    • Browse history
    • Media activity history
    • Location history
  • To find out how to manage data within a product, visit the In-product experiences page.
  • To access data that doesn’t appear on the privacy dashboard or in a product, contact the Microsoft privacy team.

Did you sign in with your work or school account?

  • If you sign in with a work or school account, your organization will control much of your data, including emails, documents, and other files. If you want to access any of this data, contact your IT administrator.
  • To access data related to your work or school account that is controlled by Microsoft, contact the Microsoft privacy team.
  • To find out how to manage data within a product, visit the In-product experiences page.
