Skype for Business 2016 becomes unresponsive when you join a meeting with many participants

When you join a Skype meeting that involves many participants by using Microsoft Skype for Business 2016 on Windows, the Skype for Business 2016 client becomes unresponsive for a period.


To fix this issue, install the January 2, 2019, update (KB4461586) for Skype for Business 2016.
Note Before you apply this update, make sure that you create a GPO to add a new DWORD registry key EnableProcessUsersInfoSeperately and set the value to 1 under the path:
