Skype for Business online user can't access the voicemail messages left on Azure voicemail from the Skype for Business 2016 client

Symptoms


Consider the following scenario:
  • You have deployed the Microsoft Skype for Business 2016 client.
  • You have Azure voicemail enabled for users.
  • You receive a voicemail on Azure voicemail.
In this scenario, the Skype for business client may not show the voicemail or may show the "From" part of the voicemail as "noreply@skype.voicemail.com" instead of the senders' name.

Resolution


To fix this issue, install the April 2, 2019, update (KB4462234) for Skype for Business 2016.
