Summary
This update improves the Windows 10, version 1903, 1909, 2004, 20H2, 21H1, and 21H2 out-of-box experience (OOBE) by providing the new Chromium-based version of the new Microsoft Edge during the OOBE process. This update applies only to the Windows 10, version 1903, 1909, 2004, 20H2, 21H1, and 21H2 OOBE process and will be available only when OOBE updates are installed.
Microsoft has released a new Chromium-based version of Microsoft Edge. This new version provides best in class compatibility with extensions and websites. Additionally, this new version provides great support for the latest rendering capabilities, modern web applications, and powerful developer tools across all supported OS platforms.
