Typelib could not be Loaded

SYMPTOMS

The error "Typelib could not be loaded" generated with manually adding the eConnect75_AIC.dll to COM+ Applications with in Components Services.

CAUSE

This situations occurs if Biztalk is not loaded on the workstation. eConnect is looking for Biztalk registration entries during a manual insert of the eConnect75_AIC.dll to COM+ Applications.

During the install of the eConnect Incoming Service a check is made for Biztalk, and if not found the eConnect75_AIC.dll is still placed in the COM+ Application. This situation only occurs if the eConnect75_AIC.dll needs to manually placed back into the COM+ Application and Biztalk is not loaded.

RESOLUTION

There are two ways to address the issue:

1. Install Biztalk on the workstation and then add the eConnect75_AIC.dll to COM+ Applications.

2. If installing Biztalk is not an option, uninstall eConnect Incoming services. To uninstall the eConnect Incoming Services navigate to Add/Remove programs (Start|Settings|Control Panel|Add/Remove Programs), select the eConnect Incoming Service and remove.

Install the eConnect Incoming Service from the eConnect install. Go into Windows Explorer and navigate to the Program files\Microsoft Great Plains\eConnect75\.Net Services Install\eConnect .Net Incoming Service folder. Double click on the eConnect_Incoming_Setup.msi file to perform the installation.
