Customer Notes from the Customer Card on the SOP Picking Ticket

Question:

How do you add the customer notes (notes added to customer in the customer card) to the Sop Blank Picking Ticket form?

Answer:
 
1. In Report Writer (Tools - Customize) , choose the Tables icon at the top of the window and select the RM_Customer_Master_Address.
2. Choose the Open button, followed by Relationships , then New .
3. Choose RM Customer Master for the Secondary Table and select Key 1.
4. Select Customer Number from the drop down.
5. Save changes and close windows.
6. Select the Tables icon at the top of the window and select the RM_Customer_Master.
7. Choose the Open button, followed by Relationships , then New .
8. Select Record Notes Master for the Secondary Table and select Key 1 .
9. Select Note Index from the drop down.
10. Save changes and close the window.
11. Open the Sop Blank Picking Ticket form from the main Report Writer window.
12. Select the Tables button in the Report Definition window.
13. Double click the Customer Master address File followed by double clicking the Customer Master file.
14. Double click the Customer Master File followed by the Record Notes Master.
15. Open the layout of the report and pull the Text field from the Record Notes Master onto the report. With version 6.0 you should add the Text field to the RH section and the PH section of the layout, so that the notes will print on the first page as well as subsequent pages of a multi-page picking ticket.
16. After saving the file in Report Writer and returning to Dynamics, be sure to give the user access to the modified report in Security Setup (Setup - System - Security).
