FIX: An access violation occurs in a COM+ based application, and the generic COM+ event ID 4786 is logged in the Application log in Windows Server 2003

Symptoms

On a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, an access violation occurs in a Microsoft COM+ based application. Additionally, the following events are logged in the Application log:

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2.
