The "Year to Date" function does not appear as a calculated measure when you use Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 Business Analytics Configurator together with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services to build an OLAP cube

Symptoms

When you build an online analytical processing (OLAP) cube in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 Business Analytics Configurator, the Year to Date function does not appear as a calculated measure in the OLAP cube.

This problem occurs when you use Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 Business Analytics Configurator together with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services.

Resolution

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. The hotfix corrects the problem that is described in this article. Apply the hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
