How to use Alarms & Clock app

  1. Alarms and timers work even if the app is closed or your PC is locked. Alarms are designed to wake you gently, so the alarm sound is quieter at first, and gradually gets louder.
  2. Tips: 
    1. Keep your laptop or tablet plugged in.
    2. If you see a warning that notifications only show if the PC is awake, make sure your device doesn’t go to sleep (Settings  > System > Power & sleep).
    3. After you select New alarm , select the item under Sound to try out different alarm sounds and choose the one that works best for you.
    4. Make sure the volume on your PC is high enough to hear the alarm or timer.
