Under Windows NT, the Toshiba TXM-3201, TXM-3301, and the TXM-3401CD-ROM drives should work and are listed on the Hardware CompatibilityList (HCL). However, Windows NT may not recognize the CD-ROM if it wasoriginally installed on a machine that requires the modification ofthe Toshiba CD-ROM firmware.

Some machines manufactured by Sun and Intergraph may use modifiedToshiba CD-ROM drives which will not work with Windows NT. In orderfor Windows NT to recognize the CD-ROM, the drive has to be modifiedagain by Toshiba.
