Summary
In the versions of Microsoft Excel listed above, you can create an add-inapplication that contains any of the following elements: functions, customdialog boxes, custom menus, toolbars, and procedures. To create a name anddescription for your add-in application, use the Title and Comments boxes.In Microsoft Excel version 5.0, these boxes are found in the Summary Infodialog box and in Microsoft Excel versions 7.0 and later, they are foundon the Summary tab of the Properties dialog box.

Microsoft Excel Version 5.0

To create a name and description for your add-in application, follow thesesteps:
  1. Open the workbook that you want to convert to an add-in application.
  2. On the File menu, click Summary Info.
  3. In the Title box, type the name for the add-in application. In the Comments box, type the description for the add-in application.

Microsoft Excel Versions 7.0 and Later

To create a name and description for your add-in application, follow thesesteps:
  1. Open the workbook that you want to convert to an add-in application.

  3. In the Title box, type the name for the add-in application. In the Comments box, type the description for the add-in application.
