When you open a file in Notepad, you may receive the following errormessage:
Not enough memory available to complete this operation. Quit one or more applications to increase available memory, and then try again.
This behavior can occur because the Notepad program in Windows 95/98 isslightly larger and the space to edit data slightly smaller than theNotepad program in Windows 3.x. Therefore, some files that you can open inNotepad in Windows 3.x may be too large for Notepad in Windows 95/98.
To resolve this issue, reduce the size of the file, or use a differenttext editor, such as WordPad.
